A windstorm battered parts of a VDC in Rolpa district on Friday night damaging crops, national news agency reports.

Maize crops worth Rs. 100,000 have been destroyed as high wind coupled with a landslide wreaked havoc at Pawachang VDC.

Farmers, who also saw their winter crops damaged last year, have been upset by the windstorm and landslide destroying their winter crops. nepalnews.com
