Ganapur turning into industrial hub

Ganapur of Janaki rural municipality in Banke district is developing into an industrial town. As many as 63 industries have been established at Ganapur, Janaki-6, in recent years.

Cement, iron, food, brick, herbal, resin and pharmaceutical among other big industries that are of significance for domestic consumption and export have been established at Ganapur.

Rural municipality's officiating chairperson Bhumisara Dhital said new industries are coming up in recent period. She said the rural municipality has a plan of developing Ganapur as an industrial zone through adoption of industry-friendly policy.
