50 ropanis of land in Tribhuvan Park rented illegally

Minister for Culture and Tourism of Bagmati Pradesh Dipendra Shrestha has said that 50 ropanis of land in Tribhuvan Park has been rented out for a penny.

He informed that out of 166 ropanis of land in the park, 50 ropanis of land has been given to a private company for the construction of a fun park with a monthly transplant of Rs. 9,150. Minister Shrestha said that he has demanded the Chief Minister to form a committee to investigate the incident and bring out the facts.

The ministry will continue to work to investigate the incident and take action against the culprits. The Tribhuvan Park Memorial Committee has leased the land to Excelsior Information Technology and Trade Concert through illegal process.

Minister Shrestha, Secretary Madan Koirala and Project Chief Bishnu Bhandari have observed the park. It was found during the observation that the company which was renting land at cheap rates was conducting business in the park area.
