Sunil Lamsal, Waste Management Consultant of Kathmandu Metropolis, informed that, vehicles carrying garbage should not leak any leachate (formed when rain water filters through wastes placed in a landfill) on the road, deodorizing medicine/sanitizers should be sprinkled daily, where the garbage is piled up, and dumping waste randomly must be prohibited.

He claims that after the agreement, waste management will become easier. Similarly, it has been agreed to end the current obstacles in waste management.

Moreover, an agreement was also made in the statement issued by the heads of the local organizations of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) in Dhunibensi municipality that they will not be allowed to throw garbage in the area.
