An armed policeman has died in a collision with a school bus in Kirtipur.
29-year-old Subash Chandra Ratela died when the bus hit the motorcycle he was riding in front of the Armed Police Station located, Ward No. 6 of Kirtipur Municipality.
Ratela was hit by Modern Indian School's bus going to Chobhar from Balkhu. Police said that he died during treatment at Vayodha Hospital.
Ratela, a resident of Koteli-5, Jaiprithwi Bahadur Municipality, Bajhang, was working at the Central Office of the Armed Police, Halchowk.
The school bus driver Manjit Singh has been arrested by Metropolitan Police Circle Kirtipur.
