Commercial banks in Kathmandu valley will come into full operation from June 22. The bankers have agreed to start full operations and provide all services as the prohibitory order in the valley has been eased.
The Executive Committee meeting of Nepal Bankers Association held today has decided to start full operations and provide all banking services.
At present, banks have been opening their branches on a turnwise basis due to the prohibitory order. Moreover, the banks have been providing only deposit and withdrawal services. Also, banks have been opening their branches only till 2 pm.
