Bomb scare near Indian Embassy

On Tuesday afternoon, a local called Police Control saying that he had seen a suspicious object near the Indian EmbassyOnly a few days ago, a security guard had shot himself inside the embassy. Meanwhile, DSP Deepak Dahal went to the spot himself to find out about the suspicious item. Kathmandu Police also informed the Nepal Army Bomb Disposal Team.

According to Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Bharat Bohora, when DSP Dahal reached and checked camera footage nearby, he saw a woman carrying a suspicious bag.

"It was seen in the footage that he left his bag and walked towards the Indian embassy in Nepal," said Bohora. "After that, we coordinated with the embassy and interrogated her."

It was revealed that Shashikala Chaudhary, 30, of Sarlahi, who was cleaning the embassy, ​​had thrown a garbage bag there.
