A Canadian citizen has been arrested from Tribhuvan International Airport with nine kilograms of gold worth around 833 million rupees.
The team of Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office arrested 35-year-old Mohammad Kamal Mahgoub, a Canadian citizen who came to Nepal with gold from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), during the check last night.
He came to Kathmandu through F-2573 of Fly Dubai and was arrested at 12 last night. The incident is being investigated.
