Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma has instructed the overall rank of the Nepal Army to fulfill the responsibilities received from the Government of Nepal for the local level elections in the best possible way.
He gave the directive during an inspection visit to the Company Operating Ways (COV) set up for the security of the election in the racing area of Tanahu today. During the visit, Sharma also interacted with the district security chiefs and election officials, according to a statement issued by the Nepal Army's Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
According to the directorate, he had also inspected the COV in Mazagawa area of Rupandehi today. Similarly, General Sharma also inspected the Command Headquarters at Pokhara in Kaski and the Nepal Army Vetal School at Saljandi in Rupandehi.
During the visit, he was briefed on the current state of the Battle School and other various aspects including local level election security.
