COVID cases increases in Kathmandu

In the last 24 hours, Kathmandu valley alone reports 876 COVID infections. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, coronavirus has been detected in 1,446 people across the country through PCR test and antigen test methods.

According to the ministry, 60.58 per cent of the infected people are in the Kathmandu Valley. So far, coronavirus has been detected in 258,462 people in Kathmandu District.

The death toll has reached 2242 and 2 thousand 655 are active cases in the district.
