Former queen Komal Shah receiving COVID treatment in ICU

Former queen Komal Shah has been shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) at Norvic International Hospital, Thapathali in Kathmandu. 

The hospital's Public Relation Manager, Somnath Bastola informed NepalNews that Shah has been receiving treatment with the support of oxygen supply. He said shah was shifted to ICU after she developed respiratory complications on Wednesday evening.

He said that Gyanendra has also undergoing treatment with oxygen supply although he is in stable condition. she developed respiratory complications, said Information Officer at Norvic Hospital, Somnath Banstola.

Shah along with her spouse, former king Gyanendra Shah, and their daughter Prerana Shah has been receiving treatment at the hospital. 

The former royal family members were admitted to the Thapathali-based international hospital on April 24 for the treatment of Covid-19.
