A person who has swept away while swimming in the Bagmati River at Sundarijal has been rescued alive.
Information has been received that a male person has fallen into the Bagmati river at Sundarijal.
The police were immediately mobilized and the Nepalese army was deployed to search and rescue the person who had slipped.
Sandesh Karki of the year 27, who slipped and fell into the river, was rescued alive by the tireless efforts of the jointly deployed security personnel.
