TU closes till Jan 24, exams to continue

All the departments and campuses of Tribhuvan University (TU) will be closed till January 24. The decision was made to control COVID infection said the university.

Other universities are also discussing the possibility of closing down physical classes. With the decision of Tribhuvan University, most of the educational institutions across the country have stopped physical classes. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has already decided to close school level education till January 28.

The government has already decided not to allow more than 25 people to gather in public places as the rapid surge of COVID-19. The Executive Council of Tribhuvan University has decided to conduct the examinations that have already been decided and are currently being conducted by adopting health standards.

The Examination Control Office is preparing to conduct the third year examination from the last week of January.

Surya Prasad Adhikari, Chief of the Office of the TU Assembly and Executive Council, said that the campus, which has low coronary transition rate and can regulate physical classes in coordination with the local level.
