Vaccination cards mandatory for public services from Jan 21

The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has stated that vaccination cards are mandatory for public services from January 21.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Kathmandu District, Umakanta Adhikari said that the vaccination card has been made mandatory to keep records of those who have been vaccinated and to motivate those who are yet to be vaccinated.

He said that the necessity of vaccination cards in public places would play an important role to control COVID-19 surge. Action would be taken as per the Infectious Diseases Act 2020 if the decision made by the Government and the order issued by the District Administration Office were not followed.
