From body transformation to makeup and prosthetics, an actor has to go through all the specifications of the makers to fit into the character.

Amitabh Bacchan in Paa

Big B won hearts when he portrayed the role of Auro or Paa in the 2009 flick. The makeup and prosthetic teams included artists like Christien Tinsley and Dominie Till. The makeup skills used in the movie helped the makers to earn the National Film Award in 2009.

Rajkummar Rao in Raabta

Raabta didn't hit off the screen well but Rajkumar's transformation gained an immense amount of attention. The LA-based makeup team worked well with sheer precision and made him completely unrecognizable.

Rishi Kapoor in Kapoor and Sons

This late veteran actor played the role of a 90-year-old grandfather in the film. The makeup artist Greg Cannom's aim was to make Rishi look completely old naturally.

Lara Dutta in Bell Bottom

Being the most recent transformation, Lara Dutta registered herself in the list by donning the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom. The look created a massive buzz at the time of the movie's trailer launch.

Priyanka Chopra in Barfi

This global icon has played countless glamorous roles in her Bollywood career but the role of Jhilmil, an autistic girl in Barfi, remains one of her most admired and challenging roles of all time.
