A total of 14 beauty contestants participated in the Miss Universe Myanmar 2022 finale in Yangon on Saturday.
Zar Li Moe of Bhamo in northern Myanmar's Kachin state was crowned the title of "Miss Universe Myanmar 2022" to be a contestant in the upcoming 71st Miss Universe competition to be held early next year in the United States.
Miss Universe Myanmar Pageant 2022 is the ninth time of such kind which has been held since 2013 in Myanmar.
The national beauty pageant of the Southeast Asian country was not held last year. Thuzar Wint Lwin, the representative from Chin state, won the title in 2020.
Miss Universe Beauty Pageant is one of the world's oldest and most important beauty pageants.
