Miss World to help Nepali Migrant's family

 As reporter, Miss World pageant is going to support the families of migrant workers from Nepal and other countries who lost their lives while building stadiums for the World Cup football in Qatar.

Dipendra Gurung, co-president of Miss World, said that under the organization's social responsibility program, they will help the families of more than a thousand Nepali workers who lost their lives during the construction.

He, who reached Doha to watch the World Cup finals, said through an Instagram post that the children, widows and parents of the deceased workers will be addressed through "beauty with purpose" segment of the upcoming 71st edition of Miss World.

He said that he will help the families of migrant workers from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Philippines who are working in the construction of the stadium.

Co-Chairman Gurung also presented a picture of the stadium and the national flag of Nepal in the post. Gurung is officially taking charge as the co-chairman of Miss World from the 2023 edition of the Miss World pageant.

Meanwhile, Miss Nepal organizer, The Hidden Treasure is also thinking about helping the families of migrant workers who lost their lives.

"We haven't prepared the program yet, but we are discussing it," Hidden Treasure director Pramod Kansakar.
