Doctors have asked to be careful as most of the dengue patients have throat problems. After dengue-infected people complain of sore throat, sores seem to appear on the throat during the examination.

A doctor stated that dengue has many similar symptoms to viral flu. Symptoms such as sore throat, eye pain, headache, vomiting, and nausea are more common.

In recent days, 90 percent of patients have dengue. According to doctors, dengue, flu, and the common cold, and fever are similar to each other and we need to be aware of the specific symptoms of the disease. There is no need to panic if a family member has dengue as it is not a communicable disease. But medications should not be taken without the doctor's advice, even if the fever does not go down.

Taking too much Cetamol is not suggested if the fever keeps persisting. Since August this year, patients with high temperatures (fever) have been received and the number of dengue patients in hospitals has increased gradually.

Doctors have urged to pay attention to health security, recommending going to the hospital only after 72 hours because there is no need to visit the hospital as soon as the fever occurs. Only if symptoms such as sore throat, high fever, pain in the pupil of the eye, and pain in the throat are seen, then it may be dengue.
