The Ministry of Health and Population has requested those showing symptoms of corona virus infection to stay in isolation.

The ministry has issued a notification and requested everyone to get tested and stay in isolation as soon as the corona virus infection is detected.

The Ministry has requested to be cautious as every cold, every cough and every fever can be caused by Covid-19 until proven otherwise.

For the first time in Nepal, a new variant of corona virus, Omicron XVV. 1.16 has appeared. Now the infection is increasing in the neighboring country India due to the same new variant.

Since the infection is increasing, the Ministry has also requested all levels and agencies to play an effective role in prevention and control. As the covid-19 epidemic is still not fully under control, everyone has been urged to adopt public health standards and get vaccinated.

The infection of the corona virus, which has dropped to zero, is now increasing. Only yesterday, 76 new infections and the number of active infections reached 227.

The ministry has requested to wear a mask to cover the nose, mouth, and face, to get vaccinated against the corona virus, to wash hands with soap or sanitizer occasionally, to cover coughs and sneezes with a handkerchief, and to keep a physical distance of two meters.
