Development work is done for the convenience of the citizens. Generally, transparency is given importance in the budget spent from the government fund. Government bodies should provide information even if every citizen wants to know. For the same work, the citizens cut their throats and pay the government employees.

What could be worse than a government employee taking an oath and trying to justify wrongdoing? This has happened in Baglung. If we look at the case filed by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority in the special court today, it has been found that the work that is not being done and has been overpaid.

The commission has stated that all the works that were supposed to be done in the construction of Dabgara bus park but have not been done, the work is being done and the work has not been completed. Action has been demanded against Sub-Engineer Ghanshyam Rijal, Engineer Manoj Sharma and CDE Dayaram Adhikari for preparing a report alleging corruption in the commission amounting to Rs. 590,509.

Similarly, action has been demanded against Ward Chairman of Baglung Municipality-4 Dhurba Bahadur KC, Deputy Chief Surendra Khadka and Engineer Manoj Sharma, Chairman of Bus Park Construction Users Committee Subash Chandra Rajbhandari, Treasurer Bhim Kumari Acharya and Secretary Gunaniti Sharma, said Assistant Spokesperson of the Commission Ved Prasad Bhandari.
