Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota said that he has been paying serious attention to the recent public incidents of sexual violence and called on the government to take legal action against the perpetrators and compensate the victims.
During the ongoing discussion on the priorities and principles of the Appropriation Bill for the coming Fiscal Year, Nepali Congress MP Gagan Kumar Thapa drew the attention of the Speaker.
