17-year-old shot to death in Tanahun

A young man was shot dead in Thaprek of Shuklagandaki Municipality-1 of Tanahun district last night. The deceased has been identified as Rohit Malla, 17, of the same place, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Yuvraj Khadka, the youth was shot dead on the spot while he was out hunting in the forest. Police have arrested Sun Bahadur Gurung, 47, of the same place with a gun. Pranau Khadka informed that further investigation is underway. The arrested man was a neighbor of the deceased.
