20 million from the welfare fund to the police hospital

The Police Welfare Fund has donated Rs 20 million for the treatment of ex-police and the family of the rehabilitated.

On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the hospital, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri handed over a check of Rs. 20 million to Dr. Asha Singh, Medical Director of the hospital and Additional Inspector General of Technical Police.

Meanwhile, Inspector General Thapa inaugurated the waiting room of the former police officer at the hospital premises. At the function, Inspector General of Police Thapa lauded the contribution made by the former Inspector General in bringing the hospital to its present condition and recalled the dedication and loyalty shown by the Nepal Police Hospital during the transition of Kovid-19 remarkable. He expressed confidence that the services provided by the Nepal Police Hospital would be even better in the days to come. He expressed his commitment to further support the existing services of the Nepal Police Hospital for its long-term development.

On behalf of the Nepal Police Women's Association, Chairman Sirjana Thapa handed over the equipment used for ultrasound and physiotherapy. On the occasion of the anniversary, the officials of the association also distributed fruits to the patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Today, the annual souvenir 'Hospital Mirror 2078' and the Nepal Medical Journal were unveiled which included various activities and health-related articles about the hospital.

On this occasion, a letter of appreciation was given to the police personnel who have made an unforgettable contribution to the service flow of the hospital for 25 years of continuous service. Dr. Asha Singh, Medical Director of the hospital and Additional Inspector General of Technical Police, said that Nepal Police is always ready to provide quality service to the patients coming to the hospital.
