27,000 students of Doti get second dose of vaccine

A total of 27,300 students in Doti district have been given the second dose of Moderna vaccine against coronavirus. According to the District Health Office, the second dose was given to the students in the age group of 12 to 17 who had been vaccinated earlier.

The first dose of moderna vaccine was given in the district from December 23 to December 28. Mahesh Bohara, information officer of the district health office, said that the second phase of vaccination has been carried out by conducting a vaccination campaign in all nine local levels.

According to him, children who have not been vaccinated even once have also been vaccinated. According to the District Health Office, the first dose of the vaccine was given to 27,300 children at all nine local levels of the district. Govinda Bista, health chief of Jorayal village informed that the vaccines were given through schools, health posts and basic health centers.
