50 percent more votes cast in Lalitpur

In Lalitpur Metropolitan City, more than 50 percent of the votes have been cast by 2:15 pm. Chief Election Officer Kiran Prasad Siwakoti informed that 55 to 60 percent of the votes had been cast in some wards.

According to him, it is estimated that 65 to 70 percent of the votes will fall within the stipulated time. Siwakoti informed that the polling station was crowded in the morning but it was less in the afternoon. Voter turnout is expected to increase again in the afternoon.
