The body of a child that was missing since Wednesday has been found. Anuj Basnet, 12, of Handikhola Dhap in Panchpokhari Thangpal Gaonpalika Ward No. 6 was swept away on Wednesday.
Uttam Singh Bhandari, police inspector of the area police office, Melamchi, informed that the child's body was found today at the intersection of Hadikhola and Indrawati.
He urged not to go around the river and Khabare river during the rainy season. He said that even now, children and other people go to the river under the pretext of playing, bathing, fishing etc.
