Candidate's announcement not to take service facility

Candidates contesting the local elections in the district have started contesting the election by announcing that they will not take any service facility to attract voters.

Local-level people's representatives have been getting service facilities on the basis of laws made by the Far Western Provincial Government. Candidates of some parties have fielded candidates in the election by declaring that the services provided on this basis will not be used. Most of the Congress candidates are among those who have announced that they will not take any service facility. In Bhimdatta municipality, the candidates for the three ward chairpersons of the Nepali Congress have announced that they will not take any service facility.

CPN (UML) ward chairman candidate Dipendra Dhami has also announced that he will not take any service in Beldandi village outside the district headquarters. He has announced to spend the money received for the service facility for the needy families. Congress ward chairman candidates Ashef Kunwar, Bhupendra Rawal and Prakash Thapa have announced that they will not accept the service. Among them, Kunwar, who was elected in the previous election in Bhinpa-1, has been re-elected. Rawal and Thapa are in the fray for the first time.

In the previous term, elected Kunwar had distributed the services to the senior citizens. In VHP-12, Rawal has announced to set up a fund from the service facility and spend it on the needy, Dalits, school uniforms for students, pregnant women and single elderly people.

Upendra Bahadur Kunwar is also the candidate for the post of chairperson of Bhinpa-3 from the CPN (Maoist Center). A member of the UCPN (M) 's provincial advisory committee, he has announced that he will use the money received from the service facility to raise funds for the upliftment of the poor and needy Dalit community in the ward. Kendra Bam, who has become the UML candidate from Shuklaphanta Municipality-3, has also announced that he will not take the services provided by the municipality to attract Tharu voters.
