Chief Minister Rai contracted Covid

The Chief Minister of Province No. 1 Rajendra Kumar Rai has been infected with Covid-19.

According to Chief Minister Rai's press adviser Bandhu Pokharel, 16 people including the Chief Minister's family members, members of the secretariat, residence security personnel and employees were tested for PCR yesterday, and three of them, including Chief Minister Rai, were found to be infected with Covid-19.

During the PCR test, three people including Chief Minister Rai's wife Shobha Pathak and political adviser Jeevan Rai were found to be Covid positive.

All of them are in normal health now. It has been informed that due to the covid infection, Chief Minister Rai has postponed all events including meetings.
