President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called all sides concerned to extend support and wage activism from their sides to eliminate corruption from society and establish good governance.

"Corruption is a crime against the state. It is a sheer hindrance to the country's progress and sustainable development, so all state mechanisms must be united to control and eliminate corruption," she underscored. The President further argued as corruption has a direct link to irregularity in service delivery, draining out-of-state coffers, cause of conflict, and blotting to international image, it must be rooted out from the society and country.
