Crowd of onlookers at CAN Infotech

The information technology fair (CAN Infotech) organized on Tuesday at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu to provide information about information technology has gathered a crowd of observers.

According to the organizers, more than 150 stalls at

the fair were crowded with people viewing items such as laptops, desktop computers, mice, keyboards, and television sets.

The stall of the dating app called 'Aster Clique' has the largest crowd of young people. This Nepali online dating app, which was launched on the occasion of 7th February i.e. Rose Day, was prepared by 13 Nepali software engineers.

Deepesh Neupane, the software engineer of the team including Vijayraj Dhungel, Jeevan Katuwal and other softwarewasineers informed the concept developer.

Uttam Khanal of the 'Poojapath' app said that in the pooja path stall at the fair, materials such as cow dung, red clay, cow ghee, etc., needed for religious activities are kept. He said, "We have created the Pujapath app to make it easy for the devotees. By downloading the Pujapath app, you can get information about how to do religious and patriarchal work and what materials are needed." According to him, one can get knowledge about Vastu and Astrology.

According to the organizer, CAN Infotech Mela was started with the aim of providing information about new technology and doing business by connecting people's lives with technology. The chairman of the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Ranjit Poddhar said that the fair is effective because the changes in technology and other related information can be obtained from one place.

"Big companies make changes in hardware and software technology every six months to a year. The fair has been organized because it can be seen in one place", he said.

Computers and computer-related goods, Nepal Telecom, CG Company, Colleges, Banks, and Financial Institutions used technology goods, books, leather goods, pottery, electrical bikes, stationery, and other commercial items are kept for sale in the fair.
