Fire in community forest continues for three days

The fire that occurred in the Tauke community forest for three days has not come under control.

However, the employees of the District Forest Office, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and locals have been mobilised to prevent the fire from entering the settlements including Ramechhap bazaar.

Chairman of Ramechhap Municipality-8, Santosh Tamang, informed that although efforts were on to control the fire, they were unable to extinguish it.

Meanwhile, a house was burnt to ashes in Ramechhap-8. The house belonging to Jit Bahadur Hayu of Badi Chhapdanda was destroyed in a fire, according to police.
