The funeral of sportsperson Nishim Thapa, who died in an accident during a paragliding competition, has been held. Thapa was cremated at in Pokhara on Monday. Thapa, who was competing in the paragliding cross-country events under the 9th National Games, died in an accident on Sunday.
Thapa, a 26-year-old Gorkha native, fell to the ground from a height of 100 meters and was taken to Metro City Hospital for treatment. The hospital declared him dead.
