The government has decided that citizens who are to receive their first dose of COVID vaccine will only be vaccinated with Covishield and AstraZeneca.
As per the decision of the Department of Health Services, all the citizens who come for the first dose of COVID vaccine have been instructed to make arrangements accordingly.
The Family Welfare Division of the department has given the instructions to the health directorates and health supply management centers of all the seven states and health offices of all 77 districts.
The government has decided to give only Covishield and AstraZeneca vaccines for the poeple who come for the first dose, as the stock of the VeroCell is used for the booster dose at the moment.
