Govt to receive 18.3m doses of vaccines by mid-October

The government has revealed that it will receive 18.3 million doses of the anti-COVID-19 vaccines from China, Japan and India within mid-October.

The statement issued by the Ministry of Health and Population stated that a total of 18.3 million doses of anti-COVID vaccines were being brought from China, Japan and India.

Agreement on vaccines purchased from China has already been forwarded. Similarly, Japan government is providing vaccines under the Covax scheme. The additional one million doses of Covishield will also arrive in from India.
