Indira Ranamagar elected as Deputy Speaker

National Independent Party MP Indira Ranamagar has been elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. 166 votes were cast in her favor. She was voted by the MPs of the ruling party. There were 97 votes against her. Prem Suwal, MP of Nepal Labor Kisan Party, was abstention. Muktakumari Yadav of Nepali Congress is also a candidate for Deputy Speaker.

The newly elected Deputy Speaker Ranamagar is working for the education of the sons and daughters of parents who have been imprisoned for a long time.
