One arrested on drug-related offenses

Surya Bahadur Gharti, president of Nisikhola Rural Municipality of Baglung, has been found guilty of drug-related offenses. Gharti, who kig. was the then ward president of Nisikhola Rural Municipality-6, was arrested with 80 kg of marijuana from his house.

District Court Baglung judge Diwakar Bhatt's bench has decided the crime against Gharti and ordered it to be submitted for sentencing, said Shrestedar of District Court Baglung Surya Prasad Bhandari. Gharti was arrested by a team led by Police Inspector Prakash Singh Bhandari of District Police Office Burtibang.

While searching for the person who was the 'supplier' while catching the youth consuming ganja in the Burtiwang market, the police went to the house.
