Paddy plantation in Bagmati Province is 88% only

The office of Agriculture Development Directorate of Bagmati Province, Hetauda, said that 88 percent of the paddy planting work has been completed in Bagmati Province due to the continuous rains for the past few days.

It is said that there is a problem in rice cultivation in Bagmati province, where there is geographical difficulty and lack of irrigation, because they have to rely on sky water for rice cultivation. In addition, complaints have been received that farmers are in trouble as there is also a problem with fertilizers.

A total of 120,569 hectares of land has been under paddy cultivation in 13 districts of Bagmati province. But so far, it has been understood from the office that about 16,000 hectares of land have been planted for paddy cultivation in Bagmati province.

According to the information received from the office, 8,900 hectares out of 11,000 hectares of land in Makwanpur district, 20,700 hectares out of 22,977 hectares of rice cultivation in Chitwan district, 12,200 hectares out of 14,283 hectares of land in Nuwakot have been planted. It is said.

Similarly, 8,300 hectares out of 9,000 hectares in Kaverapalanchok, 8,200 hectares out of 8,500 hectares in Sindhupalchok, 5,300 hectares out of 8,893 hectares in Ramechhap, 2,400 hectares out of 2,928 hectares in Dolakha. According to the office, paddy planting has been completed on 50 hectares of land, 13 thousand 418 hectares of 15 thousand 423 hectares of land in Sindhuli and 9 thousand 500 hectares of 11 thousand 159 hectares of land in Dhading.

It has been informed by the office that the planting of 4 thousand 175 hectares of Lalitpur, 3 thousand 925 hectares of Bhaktapur and 5 thousand 925 hectares of land for paddy cultivation has been completed. 100% planting has been done in the said three districts.
