Preparations for the polling station completed

Preparations have been made at the polling station in Baglung for safe counting of votes. The office of the Returning Officer established in all the 10 municipalities of Baglung has stated that the polling stations have been constructed and are ready.

All 10 polling stations in Baglung have been provided with CCTV cameras. According to Basudev Neupane, Chief Electoral Officer at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Baglung, the municipality has completed the preparation of the venue for the counting of votes after the local elections.

According to Neupane, all the 10 polling stations in the district have been secured for counting of votes. The polling booths have been set up for the counting of votes in 4 municipalities and 6 villages of Baglung district by arranging CCTV cameras and netting.

 According to Chief Election Officer Neupane, the polling station has been set up in the meeting hall of the District Coordination Committee of Baglung Municipality. The meeting hall has been cordoned off and CCTV cameras have been installed.

Similarly, Jaimini Municipality has prepared a polling station in the assembly hall of Ward No. 1 of the municipality, said Election Officer Surya Prasad Bhandari. He said that CCTV cameras and wires have been set up at the polling station.

Similarly, a polling station has been set up at the old Galkot Secondary School building in Galkot Municipality for counting of votes, while Dhorpatan Municipality is preparing for the counting of votes at the building of Uttarganga Secondary School in Burtibang. Both the polling stations have been cordoned off with CCTV cameras.

Similarly, preparations have been completed for the counting of votes in Tamankhola Municipality. Lal Prasad Lamichhane, Election Officer of Tamankhola Village Municipality informed that CCTV cameras have been set up at the polling station for safe counting of votes.

Similarly, a polling station has been constructed in the meeting hall of Nisikhola village municipality, said Govinda Giri, Election Officer of Nisikhola village municipality. The polling station has been provided with CCTV cameras. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Badigad village municipality of the district has completed the preparation of the polling station, while the polling station has been set up at Bhatkhane Danda, the center of Tarakhola village municipality. CCTV cameras and nets have been made mandatory for all, while other security measures will be in place at polling stations.

 Similarly, the Office of the Election Officer of Kathekhola Village Municipality has set up a polling station in the building of Bhimsen Secondary School with CCTV cameras and wires, said Harka Bahadur KC, Election Officer of Kathekhola Village Municipality. "As the office of the Returning Officer is small, we have arranged for the counting of votes in a nearby school," KC said.

 According to the Office of the Election Officer of Bareng Village Municipality, the polling station with CCTV cameras has been prepared keeping in view the possible incidents at the polling station of Bareng Municipality of the district. Safe methods have been adopted to monitor and prevent unwanted election activities. After the Election Commission asked for the counting of votes by installing CCTV cameras, all the election offices have installed CCTV cameras and nets in the management of the local municipality.
