Prithviraj Highway in operation

The Yampa-Ambukhaireni road section of Tanahun under the Prithviraj Highway, which was blocked by landslides, has been resumed. District Police Office Tanahun informed that the section of the road which was blocked since 6 o'clock this morning has been operational since 9 o'clock.

Bandipur rural municipality-5 road in Yampa was blocked due to a landslide. Yuvraj Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Tanahun informed that the highway was cleared after the landslide fell from the road.

After the opening of the highway, people coming to Pokhara from Muglin and going to Chitwan and Kathmandu from Dumre are heading towards their destination. For the expansion of the Prithviraj Highway, when the work of cutting the wall is going on at that place, the highway is blocked from time to time due to landslides.
