TU postpones examinations amid COVID

Due to the COVID scare in the nation, Tribhuvan University (TU) has postponed all ongoing examinations.

A TU meeting on Thursday took a decision to postponed the exams from January 23 until further notice. 

"Most of the examinations under the TU have been completed, some are underway, and preparations have been ended. However, the COVID cases are increasing day by day including in the Kathmandu Valley and some of the students, staff, lecturers and professors of the University have tested COVID positive. So a meeting of the TU central examination board of directors decided to put off all annual and semester examinations,” according to a statement issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
