Two killed in an accident

Two persons were killed in an accident between a motorcycle and bus at Baramjhiya in Kanchanrup Municipality of Saptari along the East-West Highway this morning. One of the deceased has been identified as Raju Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Baluwa-3, Supaul district in the Indian state of Bihar. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Biraratnagar for treatment, police said.

Similarly, another 30 to 31-year-old man died on the way to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj, according to the District Police Office. His identity has yet to be disclosed.

Rohan Prasad Gupta, 19, of Saptari Kanchanrup Municipality-1, Baramjhiya has broken his right leg after hitting a pedestrian and was rushed to Biratnagar for further treatment, according to police. The bus and motorcycle were taken under control by the Area Police Office, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle.
