In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's resolution regarding vote of confidence was passed by majority. In today's vote, the proposal was passed by a majority of 268 votes in favor.Parliamentarians from Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, National Democratic Party, National Democratic Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, CPN United Socialist Party, Janmaat Party, Civil Liberation Party, Democratic Socialist Party, and Aam Janata Party voted in favor of the proposal. There were only 2 votes in opposition.Nepal Labor Farmers Party and Rashtriya Jan Morcha MPs voted against the proposal. Even though there was a provision for abstentions in that vote, no parliamentarians did not sit as abstentions.
