Wild elephant killed a woman in Chitwan

A woman has died after being attacked by a wild elephant in West Chitwan. According to the Chitwan National Park, the deceased is 51-year-old Maya BK, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-6 Devanagar.

According to Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, information officer of the park, BK, who had gone to cut grass in the local Dakshinkali community forest, died after being attacked by an elephant at 12:30 this afternoon. Information Officer Tiwari informed that Park and police teams have been deployed to the incident site.
