A young man has been sentenced to 19 years in prison for raping a 13- and 17-year-old girl from Majhiwan, Bhanu municipality of Tanahun.
The Tanahun District Court has sentenced 33-year-old Ramesh Tamang of Bhanu Municipality Majhiwan to 19 years in prison and to pay compensation of one lakh each to both the victim girls.
The victim's family filed a complaint at the police office saying that Tamang had raped two girls who were mentally retarded.
