Police arrested a man on the charge of killing a youth in Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-4, Eastern Rukum district, on Tuesday morning.
The arrestee has been identified as Dharma Jit (41) and the deceased as Lajim BK (29), both residents of Ghunma.
In a brawl between BK and Jit, the latter allegedly struck on BK's head with a kuto (gardening tool like hoe). Critically injured BK died on the spot, police informed.
Acting on the information, a joint team of security personnel deployed from Eastern Rukum District Police Office and Ranmamaikot-based Area Police Office immediately reached the site and arrested Jit.
Meanwhile, investigation into the case is underway, said police.
