Counting of 135 seats continue

The counting of votes for the House of Representatives and State Assembly member elections held on Sunday is continuing. According to the Election Commission, the counting of votes in 135 out of 165 constituencies is going on till 12:15 noon today.

So far, three candidates for Nepali Congress have won. Gagan Kumar Thapa of Congress in Kathmandu Constituency No. 4, Tek Bahadur Gurung in Manang Constituency No. 1 and Yogesh Gauchan Thakali in Mustang Constituency No. 1 have already won.

Nepali Congress is ahead in 42 places in the ongoing vote count. CPN (UML) 38, CPN (Maoist Center) 14, Rashtriya Swatantra Party 11, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party 5, and other parties and candidates are leading in 22 places.
