Kedar Karki, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Province No. 1 said that it was the responsibility of the government to take care of the basic needs of the people including food, shelter, and clothes.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of the District Traffic Police Office, Birtamod, he said that the government was committed to fulfilling the need for security guards. On the occasion, Minister Karki honored the landlords and dignitaries who helped in the construction work with certificates of appreciation. Office building, barracks, kitchen, and toilet building have been constructed at a cost of Rs. 188.85 million from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Province No. 1.
On the occasion, Chief of Province No. 1, Deputy Inspector General of Police Arun Kumar BC thanked all those who directly or indirectly helped in the construction of the building. Chief of Birtamod Municipality Dhruv Kumar Shiwakoti, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Province No. 1 Kali Prasad Parajuli, Chief District Officer of Jhapa District Chhavilal Rijal, Chief Fighter of the new Srinath Gana Charali of the Nepal Army at Charali Phanindra Thapal and others were present on the occasion.
