Meeting of RPP Working Committee on May 27

A meeting of the working committee of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on May 27.

General Secretary Bhuwan Pathak informed that the meeting will review the recent local elections and discuss current issues.

Today's meeting of the Election Mobilization Committee formed under the convenorship of General Secretary Pathak has thanked the voters and candidates and congratulated the winners of the local level elections. The meeting concluded that the participation of the people in the election was encouraging and the success achieved by the party was positive.

RPP has elected three municipal chiefs, four deputy chiefs in municipalities and villages, 64 ward chairpersons and more than 300 members. The party had fielded about 10% women candidates in the election.
