The meeting of the top leaders of five ruling parties has kicked in Baluwatar in a bid to sort out the problems regarding allocation of seats among them for the November 20 elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.
It is believed that the meeting would discuss the report presented by the five-party task force and give it a final shape. Taskforce member and Secretary of Janamorcha, Himlal Puri, informed that the top leaders' meeting could finalize the seat sharing.
He however said a few points were yet to be sorted out on seat allocation under the election of the House of Representatives.
Earlier, the political parties had held an internal and inter-party meeting on Tuesday morning.
The Election Commission had already made public the schedule as per which the political parties are to file their candidacies on October 9 for HoR and Provincial Assembly elections.
Before this, the ruling alliance needs to finalize the list of candidacies from their sides after concluding the seat sharing.
