Ruling, opposition parties must be together for prosperity: CM Pokharel

Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has said that ruling and opposition parties should stand together for prosperity of the province.

At a program organized by Province Election Office, Pokhara, today to distribute certificates to the members elected from Gandaki province in the National Assembly member election held on January 26, Chief Minister Pokharel mentioned that a cordial relationship among political parties and leadership is needed personally and in behaviour to make the province capable among the provinces.

He opined that a positive message would be disseminated if cordial relationship would be maintained among the leadership implementing the democratic norms and values.

CM Pokharel urged the newly elected NA members to carry out activities in favour of the nation, government and people during their six year term.

Similarly, Nepali Congress Gandaki Province president Shukra Raj Sharma, Gandaki Province Chair of CPN (UML) Nabaraj Sharma, CPN (UML) Gandaki province Chair Gayatri Gurung, Chief of Province Election Office Humnath Parajuli expressed the belief that the newly elected NA members would carry out activities keeping nation and people at the centre.

Kamala Panta, Suresh Kumar Ale Magar and Bhuwan Bahadur Sunar were elected from Gandaki province in NA member election held on Wednesday.
